Get To Know Our Veterinary Team
Dr. Andrea Mayberry
Dr. Mayberry purchased The Grove City Veterinary Hospital from Dr. Martha Arndt, the founding owner, in July 2005. She grew up in Springfield, Ohio, and attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine for her veterinary training. Dr. Mayberry has many special interests in veterinary medicine. She loves approaching each patient from a holistic perspective, taking into account the pet’s individual lifestyle, diet, environment, activity level, and underlying health issues as she makes recommendations for their personalized care. She enjoys helping pets remain comfortable in their older years and happy throughout their lives. She also enjoys connecting with pet owners and learning how their pet fits in with their families. She takes great pride in guiding pet owners through every phase of their pet’s life, from beginning to end.
Dr. Mayberry lives in the Hilliard area with her husband and two children. Their family also includes Kitty Meow Meow, Ozzy, a mini bernadoodle.
Dr. Meagan Boggs
Dr. Meagan Boggs joined the team here at Grove City Veterinary Hospital in February 2021 as an associate veterinarian. She is a Columbus native and a die-hard Ohio State Buckeye fan and alumni. She graduated from THE Ohio State University in 2013 with her Bachelor’s degree and again in 2017 with her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. Her special interests as a doctor include nutrition, behavioral concerns and overall helping pet parents preserve the human-animal bond with their fur baby. Looking at the entire pet, their home environment/dynamic as well as their physical health all play a part in their overall well-being. She looks forward to meeting our new clients, as well as continuing the strong relationships she has built with our clients.
She currently resides on the west side of Columbus with her high school sweetheart of a husband. They are proud pet parents to two dogs: Mia and Cherokee, both Boxers. As a family, they enjoy playing vintage baseball (yes, two words are historically accurate), watching/attending various sporting events in general (especially the Buckeyes, Cincinnati Reds, and Columbus Blue Jackets), attending Rock City Church, and spending time with their family and friends.
Diane Downing, Client Care and Inventory Management
Diane is a Registered Veterinary Technician who has been working at The Grove City Veterinary Hospital since 1979. Her wealth of knowledge and experience means that she can and has done just about everything in the clinic aside from being a vet. She manages our inventory for us, placing orders to ensure we have what we need at all times to treat your pets. These days she is found most often answering the phones and checking patients in and out at the front desk. Over the years Diane has formed strong bonds and friendships with many of our clients, and their pets.
Diane is married to her husband Jack. She has a special love for coonhound-type dogs which she affectionately called “cute-hounds.”
Hanna Collins, RVT
Hanna is a Registered Veterinary Technician. She graduated from the Columbus State Community College’s RVT program in 2011 and was hired at The Grove City Veterinary Hospital in March 2012. Hanna loves the technical aspects of being a Registered Veterinary Technician. She especially enjoys surgery and dentistry for our canine and feline patients. She loves that she can send a pet home with a healthier mouth than when the pet came in on the day of their dental procedure. Hanna also enjoys diagnostics such as taking x-rays, performing ear cytology, and urinalysis. Performing diagnostics adds more information to the puzzle of the mystery of a pet’s illness to help the veterinarian form a treatment plan.
She has three cats named Pepper, Quintin, and Gixxer. She also has a Great Dane named Dominic, and she keeps a saltwater fish aquarium as well.

She enjoys interacting with our clients, meeting your pets as she escorts you to an exam room, and working to meet your furry friend’s needs over the phone, through our app, or by email.

Kim Barnhill, Client Care and Veterinary Assistant
Kim joined The Grove City Veterinary Hospital’s team in October 2016. She came to us after 20 years of working in the corporate world. While she had no veterinary medicine experience other than what she knew by caring for her own dogs, she fit right in as part of the team! Kim’s positive attitude may greet you as you come into the office when she is working in the reception area, or she may be found assisting the veterinarian during your pet’s exam to help your pet feel its best!
Kim is married to her husband, Rich, and has an adult daughter Brittany who is engaged. They share their home with five dogs; all of them are Beagle mixes. Penny, Milo, Rascal, Tucker, and Ruby.

Miranda Adams, Practice Manager
Miranda moved from Indiana in 2013 and joined the team at The Grove City Veterinary Hospital in May 2013. She came to us trained as a veterinary assistant and receptionist from her previous veterinary employer. She gained new skills here at GCVH, learning about surgery, and animal handling techniques, and animal body language. She loved the way that GCVH handles their patients in a kind, low-stress, and fear-free manner.
Miranda eventually transitioned to working primarily as a client care specialist at our front desk. She enjoyed helping clients with their pet’s care needs through phone conversations, or in-person conversations. She really developed leadership skills and started taking on new tasks and roles. She is now our practice manager and assists the team with day-to-day business, and she still enjoys connecting with clients and their pets.
Miranda and her husband Eric share their homestead with a variety of animals including a cat named Johnny, a Boxer named Gabe, a flock of chickens, and a couple of dairy cows.
